Sites Unseen Drawing and Artist’s Talk.

To complement the ‘Sites Unseen’ exhibition, which opens on the 24th January 2018,  Artists Chrissy Collinson will lead this workshop and discussion on her practice method.  The Humber Street area will be a backdrop for you to explore the alleys and details of history.  Using camera phones to collect images of overlooked details, you will return to the Studio for a discussion, tutorial, and drawing session.

Materials and equipment.

Camera phones or digital cameras. These items are not essential as Chrissy will provide images by way of photographs and photocopies to demonstrate cropping and composition.  Feel free to bring along your own pencils, pens, paper, photographs, and imagery of the ‘Ten-Foots’.

The artist will provide will also provide – Pencils, pens, paper, photographs, and imagery plus her own tools of sliding window mounts – to demonstrate cropping and scale.

Please bring warm clothing for a short walk around the Humber Street area – this is dependent on the weather. Artist will provide images for the purpose of this workshop in the warmth of Studio Eleven.
